Kominfo Office <i> Lockdown </i>, WFH Employees Return”></p><p>JAKARTA – The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) has confirmed that seven of its employees have been exposed to COVID-19.  As a result, the office which is located at Jalan Merdeka Barat No. 9, Central Jakarta must <em>lockdown</em>. </p><p>Employees are asked to return to work from home or <em>work from home</em> (WFH). <em>Lockdown</em> conducted for the next week and reopened on 7 September 2020.</p><p>“According to the information I got this morning, there were seven Kominfo officials and staff who were confirmed positive. Johnny has instructed the thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all Kominfo buildings and headquarters. Even though Kominfo is back in lockdown, Johnny ensures that his agency will continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner within the Kominfo environment.

“I have instructed me to implement health protocols by wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands regularly, and reducing meetings in closed rooms with a large number of participants,” he said.

During the implementation of WFH, Minister Johnny ensured the Ministry of Communication and Information services would continue to run. “Ministry of Communication and Information services can be accessed virtually. And I will be based at Widya Chandra,” he said.

As of Friday afternoon at 16:00 WIB, within the Ministry of Communication and Information there were 27 positive employees of Covid-19. Of that number, 15 people have recovered, 12 are in the process of healing. Until now, not a single employee has died because of Covid-19.
