YouTube Immediately Rolls Feature Update for iOS 14

JAKARTA – Youtube is testing picture-in-picture (PiP) for iOS 14 update. The PiP feature allows users to play videos or other applications simultaneously on one screen.

Quoting 9to5Mac, the PiP feature has been present on Apple devices since iOS 9. However, the Youtube application does not yet support the PiP feature on the operating system (OS) 14.

The plan is that the PiP feature update for iOS devices will be rolled out gradually with the latest version of YouTube. But other reports say that the feature will only work for videos only.

However, Youtube only allows users to play videos in the background when they subscribe to Youtube Premium. So, you need to subscribe to Youtube Premium to get this feature.

YouTube premium costs $ 11.99 per month. But if the user subscribes via the YouTube application for iOS, the user has to pay 15.99 US dollars because of the 30 percent commission from the App Store.
